Orders & Payments

Everything about placing orders, payment methods and order management.

Simply browse our collections, select your wig, choose your size if applicable, and click Add to Cart. Proceed to checkout, enter your delivery details, and complete payment. You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
We accept:
  • Visa & Mastercard (via PayFast)
  • Instant EFT (via Ozow/Paystack)
  • Yoco card payments
All payments are processed securely and encrypted.
Please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order via WhatsApp at 063 057 4465 or email velourahairza@gmail.com. Once an order has been processed and dispatched, we are unable to make changes or cancellations.
Yes. As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with your order details and a summary. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it within a few minutes.
Yes. All payments are processed through PayFast, a South African-certified payment gateway. We never store your card details and all transactions are SSL encrypted for your protection.
We are currently working on adding instalment payment options. In the meantime, we accept all major cards and EFT. Follow our social pages for updates on new payment features.

Shipping & Delivery

Everything about how and when your order will arrive.

We process orders within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, delivery takes 2–5 business days nationwide across South Africa. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is on its way.
Delivery is completely FREE on all orders. No minimum spend, no hidden fees. We cover the cost of nationwide delivery for every Veloura customer.
Yes. We deliver to all major cities, towns and most outlying areas across South Africa including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and more.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and/or WhatsApp. You can use this number to track your parcel directly on the courier's website. If you have any issues, contact us at velourahairza@gmail.com.
Our courier will attempt redelivery the following business day. You will receive a notification to arrange an alternative delivery time or collection point. Contact us on WhatsApp if you need to make special arrangements.
Currently we only ship within South Africa. International shipping is something we are actively working on. Follow our social media for updates on international availability.

Yes. All Veloura wigs are made from 100% virgin human hair. No synthetic blends, no fillers. Real hair that looks, feels and behaves completely natural — soft, silky and long-lasting.
Absolutely. All Veloura wigs are 100% glueless — no adhesive needed. They come with adjustable straps and combs so you can install securely in minutes, even if it is your very first wig. No salon visit required.
Our wigs are available in the following cap sizes:
  • Small: 53–54cm
  • Medium (Standard): 55–57cm — fits most
  • Large: 58–60cm
All caps come with adjustable straps so you can customise the fit. Not sure what size you are? Measure your head circumference and contact us for guidance.
Yes. Because our wigs are made from 100% virgin human hair, you can straighten, curl and restyle them just like your natural hair. Always use a heat protectant before applying heat to maintain the hair quality and extend its lifespan. We do not recommend bleaching as this can damage the hair fibres.
With proper care, Veloura wigs last 24+ months. Longevity depends on how frequently you wear it and how well you maintain it. Washing regularly, deep conditioning, and storing on a wig stand will significantly extend the life of your wig.
Most of our wigs feature a 4x4 Swiss Lace Closure which provides a natural-looking hairline and is ideal for beginners. The lace is pre-plucked with baby hairs for the most realistic finish possible.

Hair Care & Styling

How to keep your Veloura wig looking its best for as long as possible.

  • Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb before washing
  • Wash with sulphate-free shampoo in cool or lukewarm water
  • Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends — avoid the roots
  • Rinse thoroughly with cool water
  • Pat dry gently with a soft towel — do not rub
  • Air dry on a wig stand away from direct heat or sunlight
We recommend washing your wig every 10–14 days if worn daily, or every 3–4 wears. Over-washing can strip the hair of its natural oils and reduce its lifespan. Deep condition every 2–3 washes to maintain softness and shine.
Yes — because our wigs are 100% human hair, they are heat-friendly. Always apply a heat protectant spray before using any heat styling tools. Keep flat irons and curling wands below 230°C. Excessive heat will damage the hair over time, so use heat sparingly to maintain longevity.
Store your wig on a wig stand or mannequin head to maintain its shape and prevent tangling. Keep it away from direct sunlight, dust and humidity. You can also store it loosely in a silk bag if a stand is not available.
  • Step 1: Braid or flatten your natural hair
  • Step 2: Put on a wig cap for a smooth base
  • Step 3: Place the wig and use the adjustable straps to tighten
  • Step 4: Clip the combs at the temples and back
  • Step 5: Style your baby hairs and melt the lace if desired
No glue. No stress. Just secure and go.
We do not recommend sleeping in your wig as this causes friction, tangling and significantly shortens its lifespan. If you need to, braid or twist the hair loosely and wrap in a silk scarf before sleeping. Removing the wig before bed is always the best option.

Returns & Exchanges

Our returns and exchange policy explained clearly.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for wigs that are unworn, unaltered and in their original packaging with all tags attached. To initiate a return, email us at velourahairza@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
Yes. If you would like to exchange your wig for a different style or size, contact us within 30 days of delivery. The wig must be unworn and in its original packaging. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on wigs that have been worn, washed, altered, or removed from original packaging. Hair accessories and skincare products are also non-returnable once opened.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 3–5 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption to protect all your personal and payment information. All card payments are processed by PayFast, a PCI DSS compliant South African payment gateway. We never store your card details.

Yes. All Veloura prices are displayed and charged in South African Rand (ZAR). We are a proudly South African brand serving South African customers.
